The NATO Science and Technology Organization (NATO STO) published on its webpage the Technical Report of Human Factors and Medicine (HFM) Panel Research Task Group (RTG), titled Human Systems Integration Approach to Cyber Security (NATO STO HFM-259). 
This RTG-259 was established in 2015 and 7 NATO and Partnership for Peace nations among which Bulgaria, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Ukraine and USA contributed to the study.

The Bulgarian Defense Institute with yet another proof of quality and professionalism!

On June 25, 2020 the Central Testing Laboratory for Logistic Properties at the Defense Institute, after successfully undergone planned supervision under BDS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories" by the Executive Agency "Bulgarian Accreditation Service" is re-accredited and expanded the scope of accreditation by ten indicators - ORDER No A 371/25.06.2020 and CERTIFICATE reg. No 33 LI/25.06.2020, valid until 26.05.2024.

On July 16, 2020, the Director of the Bulgarian Defense Institute - Colonel PhD Dimitar Kirkov held a meeting with Eng. Blagovesta Shineva - Manager of the Center for Testing and European Certification - Stara Zagora (CTEC- Stara Zagora) and Eng. Chavdara Atanasova - Head of Type A Inspection Body at CTES. The meeting was also attended by Colonel Nikolay Zlatanov - Head of "Tests and Control Measurements of Armaments, Machinery and Property" Directorate.

On July 29, 2020, the solemn service of the diplomas of the officers of the "Dobrudzhanski - 2020" - I round, was held  at the "G. S. Rakovski" National Defense College. The military officers successfully completed the specialty "Strategic leadership of Defense and the Armed Forces".

The topmost student is Colonel Assoc. Prof. Nikolay Stoyanov, PhD – Deputy Director of the Bulgarian Defense Institute, with a excellent grade - 6.00.
