In the period from 16.10.2023 to 20.10.2023, the 52nd official workshop of the System Concepts and Integration Panel of the NATO Science and Technology Organization was held. The organizer of the event was the Defense Institute "Professor Tsvetan Lazarov", and the host of the meeting was the Military Academy "G. S. Rakovski".

On November 16, 2023, the Defense Research and Innovation Forum (DRIF) will be held at the Central Military Club in Sofia. The event is expected to be attended by representatives of NATO DIANA, EDA, industry and investors to discuss the defense innovation ecosystem and how to develop it in the coming years.

On November 28 and 29, 2023, the Bulgarian Defence Institute "Professor Tsvetan Lazarov" is organizing the traditional international scientific conference "Advanced Research and Technologies for Defence - ARTDef 2023", which will be held at the Central Military Club in Sofia.
