Who are the bulgarian speakers in Hemus - 2024 ?

The events in the frame of the HEMUS-2024 - RESEARCH AND INNOVATION FOR SECURITY, DEFENCE AND SPACE will bring together Bulgarian experts working at the European institutions and organizations in the field of security, defence and space.

Speakers at the Plenary Session: Enhancing the use of space for security and defence on June 6, 2024 will be two Bulgarians - deputy heads of units at the Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space (DG DEFIS) – European Commission (https://defence-industry-space.ec.europa.eu/index_en). DG DEFIS is in charge of upholding the competitiveness and innovation of the European Defence industry, as well as of implementing the EU Space programme consisting of the European Earth Observation Programme (Copernicus), the European Global Navigation Satellite System (Galileo) and the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS).

Ms. Dinka Dinkova – Deputy Head of Unit “Innovation and New Space – Space Defence” will present the implementation of the EU Space Strategy for Security and Defence, the challenges and perspectives in front of the future EU space law, as well as the aspects of dual-use technologies. Mr. Krastio Preslavsky – Deputy Head of Unit “European Defence Fund – Programming and SME support” will present the prospects and innovations in the European defence industry.

Bulgarian experts, working at the European Space Agency (ESA - https://www.esa.int/) will also take part in HEMUS-2024 - RESEARCH AND INNOVATION FOR SECURITY, DEFENCE AND SPACE. Ms. Bogdana Tsonevska – engineer, Copernicus Programme will join the discussions on the role of space technologies for ensuring green future.

Meeting of the working group on the preparation of the International Exhibition "Hemus-2024"

На 11.03.2024 г. от 14:00 ч. в зала „Тържествена“ на МО се състоя заседание на работната група по подготовката на Международната изложба „Хемус-2024“. На срещата беше докладвано за хода на подготовката на изложбата, индустриалния форум, представителния щанд на МО. Обърна се внимание на подготовката на международната научна конференция, демонстрационните стрелби на ЦАТИП „Змейово“ и на международния симпозиум за европейска сигурност и отбрана, които се организират от Института по отбрана „Професор Цветан Лазаров“.

The international scientific conference "Hemus" will be held at the beginning of June 2024

Дванадесетата международна научна конференция се организира от Института по отбрана „Професор Цветан Лазаров” с подкрепата на Фондация „Хемус ’95” и AFCEA – София. Тя е открит форум за споделяне на идеи и решения за развитие на въоръженията и бойната техника, комуникациите, радиолокацията, информационните технологии, икономическите и политически аспекти на отбраната и други тематични направления. Конференцията ще се проведе на 6 и 7 юни 2024 г. в гр. Пловдив, на територията на Международен панаир Пловдив.
