Taking into account the possibilities and desire for mutual cooperation, the Director of the Institute of Defense "Professor Tsvetan Lazarov" Coln. PhD Dimitar Kirkov and Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi – founder and president of the University for Business and Technology in Prishtina, Kosovo signed a Memorandum of Understanding. 
The event, which took place on 27.05.2021 at the Institute of Defense, was attended by - on the part of the guests, the the Charge d`Affaires at the Republic of Kosovo in Bulgaria HE Delfin Pllana  and on the host side, deputy director of the Institute of Defense Coln. Ass. Prof. PhD Nikolay Stoyanov, M.D. and Prof. Dr.Sc. Janzislav Yanakiev.
The two Parties expressed their readiness to university staff and  student exchange on mutual benefit programmes, cooperation in the field of teaching, research and development, as well as for the implementation of other joint initiatives, that would help to improve awareness and increase the capacity of scientific expertise.
